Since we have been growing organic fruit since 1987 we wanted to produce an organic wine to see what our patrons would think about it. We chose John Schumacher of Organic Wine Works, who has (in 1989), established a precedent being the first certified organic wines in the Nation and the first wines allowed to state “organically grown and organically processed” on their label by the B.A.T.F. We think he has done a spectacular job with our 2008 Fäsi Crest Organic Syrah.

Our Winemaker, Claude Bobba has described this Syrah fusion as having a subtle hint of smoke, bacon, black cherry and a hint of cocoa. The taste is medium plus body with a slightly smokey character typical of Syrah. There is a rich black cherry flavor with hints of black pepper and fruit forward flavors. The finish has a hint of cassis (sweet, blackcurrant) with a delightful fruity finish that lingers on the palate.   Order Now

This is our first certified (CCOF/USDA) organic wine, and we think it is a big winner. From our winemaker, John Schumacher: "The color is a rich garnet color. The nose is full of berries with hints of plum. Initial flavors of fruit in the mouth are full, smooth, soft, with hints of black cherry, slight plum, spicy, near cinnamon and clove characters, with white pepper falling particularly in the mid palate."   Note: Decant or aerate before consumption.   Order Now

Our 2006 Fäsi Crest Syrah has captured the attention of some of the most noteworthy experts in the industry. 2006 - Fäsi Crest Syrah Rosé

The Fäsi Crest Syrah Rosé 2006 is now available. More as an after thought, Claude Bobba from Wente Vineyards wanted to prove to us that he could make a dry Rosé by adding some Pinot Grigio. Wilfred Wong defines it as: Deep pink color; attractive raspberry-like aroma with a slightly detracting green, herbal element, very good depth of fruit; medium bodied, nicely packed on the palate, a touch of excess tannin, good structure; dry, good acidity, good balance; pleasant grapey, weedy flavors, a bit modest in concentration; medium finish, nice structure.   Order Now

Fäsi Crest Winery is very excited to announce its newest creation, “Sweet Syrah.” The Fäsi Crest Sweet Syrah is a port wine that has been identified by one word “Superb”. This Port Wine has been produced from the Fäsi Estate Syrah 2007 crop. The Port wine was aged in the finest oak barrels and is now available.

This is the first Port wine ever produced by Fäsi Crest Winery and was made from a single barrel aging process. With only four hundred 500ml bottles produced this will see a very limited release. It is a must try for any Port wine aficionados.

Winemakers Notes: Color is a deep dark, ruby red. Bold aromas of toasty oak, coffee, and chocolate are blended with the sweetness of blackberry and blueberry. The palate senses a smooth, well integrated, blackberry with a hint of spice, oak, vanilla wafer, and red cherry. The flavor consists of a seamless balance of fruit and alcohol and finishes the experience with a long, silky, delight of black cherry on the tongue.  Order Now
